Iranian filmmaker Asghar Farhadi has reportedly boycotted Oscars 2017 protesting against the  United States President Donald Trump’s immigration ban. According to reports, Farhadi’s ‘The Salesman’ movie won the best foreign language film on Sunday at the Academy Awards and the director sent his representative Anousheh Ansari to accept the award.
