The body of Roy Mathew, a 33-year-old British-era Sahayak in the army was found hanging at an abandoned barracks on Thursday. This comes after the deceased accused senior officers of harassment to a media personnel who allegedly carried a sting operation, impersonating as his buddy. The Defence Ministry reportedly called the death a suicide, while the family members of 33-year-old Mathew said they suspect foul play. They have demanded a probe into the circumstances leading to his death.
