Army Chief Bipin Rawat on Friday reportedly launched a WhatsApp helpline, 9643300008, for its personnel to register their complaints, after a video of a jawan alleging that poor quality food was being served at border posts went viral on social media. Earlier, General Rawat had said that serving personnel should carry out their grievances through established mechanisms within the Army rather than resorting to social media.
