As Wistron, one of the manufacturer of Apple iPhones, is building a plant in the Peenya area of Bangalore, the upcoming smartphones made in India would reportedly be cheaper than the price of its predecessors. Notably, Apple pays more than 12 percent of its manufacturing and production costs as import taxes and duties.
