A portion of road in Taylors Road, Kilpauk reportedly caved in on the early hours of Saturday. The crater is reported to be more than six feet. According to reports, the sudden cave-in was apparently caused by a combination of metro rail tunnelling and layers of loose soil. However, the exact reason for the cave-in is yet to be asserted.
