Android's recently released operating system 'O' is reportedly causing trouble with apps using the status bar. According to reports, popular apps like Status, Twilight are all experiencing a lag in the Developer Preview of Android O. Noticeably, Android Developer’s documentation suggests that it’s not a bug. The full edition of the OS is expected to be released by the end of 2017.
