Income Tax department has reportedly made it mandatory from the account holders, who have opened their accounts from July 2014 to August 2015, to submit their know your customer and Aadhaar details to banks by April 30. According to reports, banks and financial institutions will have an option to block the accounts, if the details are not provided by the given date.
