South African Batsman AB de Villiers who dropped to third, regained the top spot in the latest ICC ODI batsmen rankings replacing Australian vice-captain David Warner and Indian skipper Virat Kohli. De Villiers, who scored 262 runs in the five-match series against New Zealand is currently four points ahead of David Warner and 23 ahead of Kohli. Notably, the South African star has never been ranked outside the top five since 2009.
