According to reports, on the occasion of 68th Republic Day, a total of 777 personnel will receive medals, while 100 personnel will receive Police Medals for Gallantry. Reportedly, Jammu and Kashmir tops the list with the gallantry awards with 32 Police Medals for Gallantry. Out of the 100 PMGs, 10 have been decorated posthumously, say reports.
