Tamil Nadu Fisheries Minister D Jayakumar has reportedly said that 60 tonnes of oil was collected. He also added that another 20 tonnes of oil is left in the area and that will be removed soon. He further said seafood is safe. Notably, it’s been five days since a major oil spill polluted the Chennai city's coast after two ships collided near Ennore.
