A group of six young men were reportedly arrested for threatening and sexually assaulting seven girls from an orphanage in Kerala. According to the police reports, the girls were offered treats, cajoled, and taken to a nearby shop and then sexually assaulted on their way back to the orphanage from school. The girls were threatened and warned against complaining to anyone. The six men have been charged with rape and under the stringent POCSO Act.
