American tech giant Intel on Wednesday announced a 5G modem intended to let companies begin testing 5G data connections for smartphones, smart cars and drones. Further, Intel claimed that With 5G, self-driving vehicles would be able to make decisions in milliseconds to keep drivers and vehicles safe. Drones can aid in disaster recovery efforts providing real-time data for emergency responders, added Intel.
