According to the United States Geological Survey, 5.1 magnitude earthquake 32 kilometres northeast of Iwaki, Japan. However, no damages or injuries were reported. Notably, Iwaki is located in Fukushima Prefecture on the east coast of Japan, where a tsunami hit in 2011 leading to a meltdown at a local nuclear power plant.
