Five SBI officials posted in the West Godavari district of Andhra Pradesh, who allowed private companies to withdraw over Rs 2.49 crore in a day, were reportedly booked by CBI. CBI reportedly said public servants also withdrew amounts above the restricted limits from their accounts in the branch. Notably, RBI guidelines limit the over-the-counter cash withdrawal after demonetisation.
