26 Central Reserve Police Force personnel were killed and seven others injured in an encounter with Maoists in Chhattisgarh's Sukma area, say reports. The seven injured CRPF personnel have been shifted to a hospital in Raipur in critical condition, while seven soldiers are still unaccounted for. The incident happened during a road opening party where as many as 90 CRPF jawans of the 74th Battalion were a part of. Rescue operations are underway.
