Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao reportedly announced that efforts will be made to supply power to the agricultural sector in the state for 24 hours a day in about a year. Rao also said that his government will create a Rs 500 crore fund in the coming budget to address the issue of minimum support price permanently and agricultural produce will also be sold under the farmers committees.
