According to reports, at least ten tourists have died after a fishing boat capsized near Manappadu area of Thoothukudi. District Collector N Ravikumar reportedly said, “Three families from Tiruchendur seems to have booked the boat”. Reportedly, two boats carrying 20 persons each including children and women went on a ride when the incident took place.
