As many as 10 imported cars were seized and kept in the outskirts of Chennai near the Kanathur police station for allegedly racing at a speed of 150 kmph on the East Coast Road on Sunday. The cumulative price of the seized automobiles, which included a Ferrari, a Lamborghini Huracan, a Lamborghini Aventador, a Mercedes AMG GT and an Audi, is expected to be around Rs 30 crore. Meanwhile, the drivers of the respective cars were also held for rash and negligent driving, creating panic and causing noise pollution.
