The Indian Coast Guard has reportedly arrested ten Sri Lankan fishermen for allegedly fishing in Indian territorial waters. Nagapattinam Joint Director of Fisheries Amala Xavier reportedly said the fishermen hailing from Neduntheevu in the Palk Strait were detained on Tuesday. Reportedly, they were brought to Nagapattinam and later taken to Karaikal on Wednesday.
