The field of lyric writing in Tamil films still appears to be a male bastion but there are women lyricists like Thamarai who has managed to break the glass ceiling. Now there is one more woman lyricist in the form of Parvathy who has written the Nakula number in Vallinam directed by Eeram Arivazhagan. Parvathy has also worked in Thirumanam Ennum Nikah with music director Ghibran.
