Moothon narrates the story of a boy who reaches Mumbai in order to find his elder brother. The film was premiered at various film festivals prior to its release. The makers have already released the official trailer of the film.

The crime drama is certifed U/A by the Central Board of Film Certification. Moothon also features performances from Sobitha Dhulipala, Roshan Matthew, Shashank Arora, Dileesh Pothan and others.

The film is produced by Anurag Kashyap, Vinod Kumar, Ajay G Rai and Alan McAlex. Moothon is shot by Rajeev Ravi while Sagar Desai handles the background score.
