JO AND THE BOY FIRST LOOK OUT!

The first look of the upcoming film Jo and the Boy starring Manju Warrier and child actor Sanoop Santhosh came out a few days ago and if the first look is any indication, this film will mark a detour of sorts for Manju Warrier as far as onscreen characters go. 

The actress, whose Rani Padmini recently hit the theatres, will be playing the titular character Jo, which will be different from the kind of characters she has performed on screen till now and will be a lot more of a boisterous character. She is also said to have performed her own stunts for the film, which is being directed by Rojin Thomas, who had earlier directed Philips and the Monkey Pen, starring Sanoop and Jayasuya. This film too is expected to be a fun ride on the lines of the director's previous venture. The film has reportedly been shot in parts of Kodaikanal and Manali.

Meanwhile, Manju Warrier is finishing up the shooting of Rajesh Pillai's Vettah with Kunchacko Boban and Indrajith.
