LENA LANDS IN RAJASTHAN TO SHOOT FOR AIRLIFT

The bold and beautiful Lena is on a good streak. After her much-acclaimed performance in RS Vimal's Ennu Ninte Moideen as the titular character's mother, she is now all set to make her foray into Bollywood. The actress recently uploaded a picture on her Facebook page, sharing that she had landed in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan, for the second schedule of shoot for the Akshay Kumar-starrer Airlift, a film based on the biggest evacuation of Indians from Kuwait during the Iraq-Kuwait War of 1990.

 

Directed by Raja Krishna Menon, Airlift also stars The Lunchbox actress Nimrat Kaur and Purab Kohli. The first schedule of Airlift was shot in Ras al-Khaimah, United Arab Emirates, in March this year. The film's expected to release next year, and we sure are excited to watch Lena share screenspace with Akshay Kumar!
