“AWARDS MAKE US WORK HARDER” - Santhanam

Santhanam, a household name nowadays, quickly rose up the ranks, entertaining audiences with his comic timings and sense of humor in movies like SMS, Boss Engira Bhaskaran, Raja Rani and many more, thereby generating a huge fan-base.

As part of the Behindwoods Gold Summit, he was awarded the Best Acting Performance, for the movies Endrendrum Punnagai and Raja Rani.

Santhanam shared an interesting acceptance speech after he received the medal from Behindwoods.

"Sometimes when we keep doing something unknowingly over a period of time, we start losing interest, we get bored and start doing the same thing over and over again. This is when the awards help us. It gives us attention, makes us work harder and motivates us to get another award next year again"
