“I WOULD HAVE CHOSEN THE SAME PEOPLE IF I WAS TO GIVE AWARDS PERSONALLY” - Kamal Haasan

Vishwaroopam with its hurdles ahead of the release, came through as a blockbuster hit last year, setting the cash registers ringing and taking Tamil cinema to a whole new level.

Kamal Haasan who also directed, produced, wrote lyrics and rendered his voice for couple of songs in the movie, in addition to playing the lead was bestowed with the Behindwoods Gold Medal for Legendary Performance in Vishwaroopam.

Kamal stated, "I had showered Balachander many a times with awards verbally, and this makes it more special and a proud moment to receive an award on the same dais as him".
