The 2nd edition of the Behindwoods Film Festival (BFF) celebrated 2014's Ten Best Films that touched our hearts and are etched in our memories. The movies featured were Goli Soda, Mundasupatti, Pisaasu, Kochadaiiyaan, Madras, Vaayai Moodi Pesavum, Saivam, Velaiyilla Pattathari, Kaththi and Jigarthanda. The festival kicked off with the screening of these ten movies from Jan 23 to 25 at NFDC's Tagore Film Center. This was followed by an interactive workshop on Jan 26th at the Lady Andal Auditorium, involving the cast and crew of each film with a lively audience.

For the Velaiyilla Pattathari discussion, on the panel we had Velraj (Director), Vivek (Actor), Samuthirakani (Actor) and Madhan (Producer). The guests of honor for this session, to present the Behindwoods Film Festival awards to the cast & crew of VIP were Director Vijay and Director K.V.Anand.

Velraj was calm and limited in his words and gave us a brief idea of what to expect from his next film, again with the same VIP team. Vivek was the one who sent a major ripple across the auditorium while talking about some of the funny dialogues in the film, his rapport with Dhanush and the way he was pulled in to the film by the confident star. Finally, when he answered a poser about his role in Ajith's Yennai Arindhaal, the session reached its peak. An exclusive sneak peek on one of the veteran comedian's lines in the movie was undoubtedly a highlight.
