Rousing crowd response to this 'paisavasool' interaction.

The 2nd edition of the Behindwoods Film Festival (BFF) celebrated 2014's Ten Best Films that touched our hearts and are etched in our memories. The movies featured were Goli Soda, Mundasupatti, Pisaasu, Kochadaiiyaan, Madras, Vaayai Moodi Pesavum, Saivam, Velaiyilla Pattathari, Kaththi and Jigarthanda. The festival kicked off with the screening of these ten movies from Jan 23 to 25 at NFDC's Tagore Film Center. This was followed by an interactive workshop on Jan 26th at the Lady Andal Auditorium, involving the cast and crew of each film with a lively audience.

For the Kaththi discussion, on the panel we had A.R.Murugadoss (Director) and Sathish (Actor), addressing a jam-packed hall which was brimming with fans and well-wishers of Vijay and the director. Manoj Nirmala Sreedharan, Managing Director of Behindwoods.com, presented the Behindwoods Film Festival Awards to Murugadoss, Sathish & Executive Producer Sunderrajan, collecting the award on behalf of Lyca Productions.

Murugadoss spoke passionately about how he went about the plot brimming with social messages, and about the need to present senior citizens in a good light. He wondered about Vijay's marvelous capability to transform from his quiet moody self to a live-wire as soon as the shot got ready. The director also had to contend with questions from eager Ajith fans about when he would rejoin hands with their Thala. A question on whether he was ready for both Thala and Thalapathy in the same movie was also thrown at the director.

Sathish, on his part, had some great words to say about Ilayathalapathy as someone who always respects his fans for the unconditional love that they shower on him. Like the movie, the session was also 'paisavasool' all the way.
