Thanks to Behindwoods for giving me this chance of writing about the Behindwoods- IIT-M Film Festival. Firstly, the initiative of a film festival that too, free of cost and also getting to interact with the cast and crew of the film, overwhelmed me. Most of the film festivals in Chennai are not easily accessible with the entry fee being costly for students and also no interactive sessions that could give us one in a million opportunities to get answers for the questions that remained within us.

I was all geared up to watch Soodhu Kavvum and was extremely eager to catch up with the team for the interactive session.

I am an avid film enthusiast, amazed and excited about the craft all the time. The wholesome experience I gained from the film festival will be long cherished. IIT's open air theatre is the best possible place you could watch a movie for its top class acoustics, the serenity and the amphitheatre setup making the movie watching experience pleasing with undivided attention. I came all the way from Madurai to witness this event and got the best out of it, since I'm dreaming of becoming a director one day.

Thanks to IITM and Behindwoods for coming up with such inventiveness on making good films legally available to all. As promised, the whole team of Soodhu kavvum was there, except Sanchitha Shetty and Bobby Simha. We were given slots to ask questions about the film with a slew of celebrities on stage. I really hope that I would be getting an opportunity next year as well.
