I had watched Paradesi three times in the theater already before Behindwoods announced the film festival in the website. When I read that the crew of the film would be present at the event, I made sure I grabbed my tickets.

The movie was obviously amazing and the interactive session post that was very pleasing. I learned that director Bala did make it to IIT for the interactive session, but had to leave as he had some important work. However, it was heartwarming to see Bala's wife and Poornima, the costume designer of Paradesi come up on stage for a chat with the audience.

During the talk, I learned from his wife that Bala is a great human being unlike what people generally project about him. I also learned from Poornima, the efforts involved in the making of the movie.

This is a ‘once in a lifetime experience’, as I am pretty sure we will not be able to see Bala's wife address a gathering again. My sincere thanks to Behindwoods for the lovely experience and amazing hospitality.
