Hai
Behindwoods Team,
Last week i watched Raajneeti movie though
its too late (The movie released on June
4). Could easily say one of the best movies
I had seen in the recent past. A beautiful
mix of Mahabharata and The Godfather movie.
Just a wild imagination... What if the
movie is remade in Tamil... My list of
star casts for the same:
Main Characters:
Brij Gopal: (Nana Patekar - Prakash Raj)
None other than Prakash can fit into the
shoes for Nana. It’s a tailor made
character for Prakash - a kind of family
mentor.
Samar Pratap: (Ranbir
Kapoor - Silambarasan)
After watching VTV, I feel Simbu could
carry off Samar's role with ease. Samar
portrays an NRI character and the mannerisms,
dialogue deliveries should be very apt.
Could see another best performance from
him after VTV.
Prithiviraj Pratap: (Arjun
Rampal - Karthi Sivakumar)
If Karthi enacts this role, you would
be able to see once more a Paruthiveeran
in a dignified form. Imagine the scenes
outside the hospital when Prithivi's father
is admitted or the scene while

killing
the police - the character should portray violence
with a black humor.
Veerendara Pratap: (Manoj Bajpai - Cheeyan
Vikram)
Veer's character should speak powerful dialogues and
show a lot of possessiveness. For delivery of powerful
dialogues, in the current lot Cheeyan is the best
(just think of scenes from Saamy or Dhoool).
Sooraj Kumar: (Ajay Devgn - Suriya
Sivakumar)
Mr.Varma has nick named Surya as Mr.Eyes and very
rightly this character requires the same. Sooraj speaks
very less but emotes a lot in his eyes. The scenes
where he meets his true mom or the last scene with
Manoj, the eyes speak a lot.
Sarah Jean Collins: (Sarah Thampson
- Sarah Thampson)
Couldn’t think of anyone else. Sarah did a good
job in the scope given to her, so I would just replicate
her.
Indu Pratap: (Katrina Kaif - Asin)
The most spoken role before and after the release
of the movie. I chose Asin because in the first half
Indu is a bubbly girl with lots of life, but in the
second half she has to do some touching scenes. Could
be best role for Asin after Ghajini.
Side Characters:
Bharati Rai & Bhaskar Sanyal: (Nikhila Trikha
& Nasserudin Shah - Nadhiya & Nasser)
Nasser might be doing a very small role, but in a
multi-starrer its prone to happen. When Nasserudin
Shah has enacted the same in Hindi, why not Nasser
in Tamil?
Party worker: (Shruthi Seth - Bhuvaneswari)
Samar & Prithvi's father: Suman
Veer's father: Kota Srinivasa Rao
Bringing these many professionals together is a Herculean
task. But if it happens, we can surely say that Tamil
cinema is moving to the next level.

Santhosh
