Hi,
I am writing in from India. I would'nt
claim I have been an ardent fan of Rajini
but like any normal common tamilian he
is 1 among my favourites. I did'nt miss
his 100th movie which came out when I
was kid and his 100th movie which I made
to the first show and even gifting the
tickets to a wedded couple. That was my
liking for him.
Enthiran was special to us all in many
ways that I need not explain here. We
had planned for crackers bursting at the
theatre on Oct 2 and took every effort
to make it look good.
Who in the world will imagine some high
level police would pass a no cracker bursting
order for as many days as he wished! The
police stationed near the theatre who
were watching all the fun as we were preparing
for it swooped down on us after the first
display and more followed in minutes.
They took 3 of us to their hideout and
then started the hours of ordeal.
After 3 hours they came up with a demand
for Rupees 30,000 and agreed to 24K. I
was allowed to leave the place to get
the said money from the ATM.
My loss is atleast over 10000. I did not
mind missing the movie as I had already
watched it first show but what happened
had left me sleepless and wondering as
someone remarked crazy!

I have deliberately kept the title that way to attract
Rajini fans and Criticizers too.
I finish this article with the thoughts "What
a way to treat an Indian pride in India when so much
is happening for him around the world". I am
sure you will get the same feeling as you read this
incident of mine.
What is missed is missed.
