Folks, this is Ajith from San Jose, California and I had the chance to see Endhiran's Premier show yesterday. First of all, I did get the answer to the question "Would enough justice be done, with the amount of money involved in making the movie?!" Shankar has literally made me eat my words. I am a die-hard fan of Rajini and this was a soul quencher to me and to several hundreds of thousands of fans that he has managed to amass over the years! His underplayed role of "Vasi", the objective, emotionless role of "Chitti", "Chitti the lover", "Chitti the villan" sure displays the sheer class of the actor, and proves time and again that he is not a superstar because of God's grace alone. The formula does contain the Rajini factor, which takes him to the God like stature in every fan's (read fanatic) heart. I couldn’t find one character in the movie who has overdone anything. The usage of Santhanam and Karunas to the right extent, Aishwarya Rai used not just for the plain old romantic sequences and given something important in the film, screenplay without too many unnecessary vulgarities or punch dialogues, is sure an amazing step towards the outlook of Indian cinemas. I thoroughly enjoyed the graphics and it was a pure visual treat. Shankar has really thought a lot to actually make us get awed at the graphics and his ideas. Every time I thought something predictable is going to happen, it did not.
