First,
congratulations to Endhiran Team as the
movie has become a smash hit all over
the world. This shows that movie is accepted
by almost all movie goers. Endhiran has
broken and created several box office
records. Technically Endhiran is at par
with Hollywood movies and it is one of
the best Indian movie ever made.
The performance of all the artists are
excellent. Music is superb. Screenplay
is excellent and racy. Everything is fantastic
about Endhiran except one thing….
That is story….
I am not saying that Endhiran doesn’t
have a good story but it is not upto either
Shankar’s or Super Star’s
standard.
Shankar’s USP is message….social
message. |

Endhiran
does have a message but it is not at par with his
earlier movies.
As far as the storyline is concerned, Endhiran will
be ranked well below Indian, Gentleman, Muthalvan
or even Anniyan.
For me Endhiran’s story boils down to “just
a fight for a woman”. Despite the thin story,
Endhiran will be remembered & cherished forever
for its technical extravaganza.
No doubt Endhiran has taken the Inidan Cinema to
the next level. The success of Endhiran is the success
of Tamil Cinema and Indian Cinema. As KB sir said….undoubtedly
Shankar is the James Cameron of Indian Cinema….
Sun Pictures is the MGM, (I would say) 20th Century
Fox of Indian Cinema and our Super Star Rajini will
surely emerge as the Super Star of World Cinema.
Looking forward to 3S's next magnum opus....wonder
what I mean by 3S?
Shankar
Sun Pictures
and Super Star
