Hi,
Good morning. Yesterday I had
an unforgettable journey in
my life.
I was returning to Chennai from
Salem by Kovai express and had
the opportunity to meet ace
director A.R. Murugadoss. Film
buffs cannot forget his journey
in the Indian Cinema.
Some recap about him,
He worked as an assistant director
with S. J. Suryah for films like Vaali and
Khushi.
His first movie as a director was Dheena,
a Tamil film starring Ajith Kumar.
Next one was Ramana with Vijayakanth and
this movie came out as one of the biggest
hits of Vijayakanth.
His third movie was Ghajini starring Suriya
and Asin.
The Hindi version is also named Ghajini
that broke all the records to become the
first Bollywood film to cross a collection
of Rs.200 crore mark (INR 2000 million -
USD 45 million).
He was very casual. Every one identified
him in the coach. There was a rapid fire
round to him from the passengers in the
coach. He answered every question with a
smile.
Everybody wished him for taking Tamilnadu
to world arena. He also shared his views
about the artists he worked with. He said
that his all time favorite is Suriya.
One passenger sang “Suttum Vizhi”
from film Ghajini. He appreciated him and
gave his email ID to send his voice tapping
for his future films. Every one was literally
shocked when they heard this.
What a man! He made the coach come alive
for almost five hours.
I can’t forget this journey in my
life. I just wanted to share this with you.
Wishing him all success.
Note: His next movie is
with Suriya and music is by Harris Jayaraj.
Best Regards,
