Once Again Vasanthabalan has stood upto his standards and has given a good movie for Kollywood which may niche in the temple of fame.

The movie in simple words shows us the life and background of salespersons working in popular malls and in particular shows us a love between two such pitiable workers who at last live happily with their love and confidence.

The movie revolves around the life of the salespersons working in malls in the city’s bazaar street (Ranganathan street). The hero Jothilingam, who clears his twelfth with good grades happens to quit studies as his father dies in a train accident. So consequently he comes to work in Chennai in a mall called Senthil Murugan Stores, along with his friend as the entire responsibility falls on his shoulder. But life doesn’t seem to be easy but still he adjusts to surroundings considering his family situation. It is there he meets the heroine, Kani who happens to be his co-worker. Both happen to be under constant anguish due to Karungali, their supervisor. The supervisor really acts too strict and female exploitation under the name of punishment seems to be the act of the day for him. A few demoralizing incidents occurs for both the hero and heroine. Only after which they become friends. And in the short time they become intimate and love blossoms. But again, one of their friends, a sales girl who was in love with her coworker, happens to die due to the tormentor
Angadi Theru
Karungali. This incident raises a fear and doubt in the mind of the hero which ultimately breaks their relation. But then he realizes things around him and his mistakes and gets back into relation with Kani, by convincing her. After this a few incidents make them lose their job. And at last the movie ends by showing us how they both survive together forever with love and confidence.

The story on the whole shows us the day to day life style of the salespersons in such malls and the problems faced by them. The background of each and every worker is well described. Though we do not know whether it is real or exaggeration but it still leaves us with pity for those workers. And also if not exaggeration some things shown, like the female exploitation are really to be condemned. And at the end the movie really gives us a feel of watching a good movie.

Both the hero and heroine has done a commendable job and their looks add a plus to the movie. The screenplay was also too good as it does not really leave us only with heavy pain in heart for those workers but also with some little pride. Music by Vijay Antony and GV prakash even though not too brilliant but still keeps us seated during songs. “Aval appadi ondrum azhagillai” and” kadhaikalai pesum “ tracks are really soothing.

On the whole, a different attempt of Vasanthabalan which has proved to be succesfull and might niche in the temple of fame.
