Kamal Hassan is a famous Indian film star
in the Tamil movie industry. Kamal was not
introduced by Balachander, but he was noticed
because of his performance in K.B’s
films.His first major performance, as a hero
was for K. Balachander's movie Arangetram
where he played the role
of a teenager aspiring to be a succesful medic.
In the movie Manmadhaleelai, Kamal
took up the role of a play boy. However, he
got his break with K. Balachander's Telugu hit
Maro Charithra. The remake of Maro Chitra was
Ek Tuje Ke Liye, which marked his debut in Hindi
film. So, Balacahander made Kamal as a verstaile
hero.
