MKSOM was Jayam Ravi’s second movie which was also a remake of Telugu movie, Amma Naana O Tamil Ammayi. The movie established Jayam Ravi as a future prospect in Tamil industry. It was the comeback for Nadhiya and erased the image of Asin as an unlucky heroine. Asin was the ladylove in Telugu while Ravi Teja was the protagonist.
