Jothika’s first movie as a protagonist
was in the movie Poovellam Kettupar. The lead
cast includes Surya,
Nasser, Vijaya Kumar, Kovai Sarala and others.
Vasanth was the director of the movie while
Yuvan was the music composer. Jothika acted
in the role assigned to her with ease. Though
the movie was good with the required ingredients
in the right mixture, the movie was not able
to record good collections.
