Nettrikan, directed by K. Balachander, had
Rajini acting in dual role, one as father
and the other as his son. As a father he had
acted as one who is in thirst for sex while
the son role is all about to make his father
free from his sex desire. With the assistance
of Saritha, the son succeeds in making his
father feel for his irresponsible activities.
Laksmi was the pair for the father role and
the lead cast includes Rathi, Suhasini, Sarath
Babu and Goundamani. Illayaraja’s tunes
were good and the song Ramanin Moganam was
a big hit.
