In the making of anniyan interview, Shankar praises his camera men Ravi varman / Manikantan for their innovative and genius camera work. Shankar said that there is a scene where normal cinemascopic camera cannot be used and so they did the scene with regular Mini Dv handy cam which was later developed to cinemascopic print. Shankar did not reveal the scene in the interview. This is the scene where anniyan starts to hit REMO and he sits on top of REMO. The Anniyan and the Remo roles are interchanged between the camera and vikram. This is an innovative way of taking double role shots and the hard work and dedication of the camera men is seen in this scene. Also the beauty in this scene is that it is a continuous frame with no cut.
