Maddy the 'bottle' Mani plays a sparkling role as a comedy-action hero in ethiree.Delhi Ganesh, a trypical brahmin house owner in Mylapore, plays to the tune of smilies with Ravikumar. Add Vivek into this, what more can you ask. Ethiree also proves to be a crucial comeback for Vivek as the number of flims without his presence were on the decline.Enthiree closes 'Minnale' as Maddy and Vivek join the ramp together to give away a full time entertainer.

Natarajan (Delhi Ganesh) is in search of a decent tenant, as he is apprehensive of a vicious tenant whom he fears would start going around with his nubile daughter Gayathri (Kanika). Fate as it seems, he ends up leasing it to five guys who feign to be gentlemen, only to turn nuisance later.

Natarajan seeks the advice of 'auto' Vivek who suggest to Subramani (Madhavan) who proclaims himslef to be 'bottle' Mani, a dreaded gangster, in a plan to evict the troublesome tenants. Meanwhile, Madhavan gets into close rapport with the tenants and creates more headache to Delhi Ganesh. Priya (Sada) and Maddy fall into the same pie as she is purportedly kindnapped by Madhavan and group, while in-fact she was indeed trying escapade from her engangement clutches with a sadistic Assistant Commissioner of Police (Rahman), arranged against her will by her money-minded father. Priya stays along with Maddy and this is where our charming 'heart throb' of chennai girls falls in love with PriyaThe rest is what follows as direct consequence and not so difficult to guess story line where Maddy struggles over all the impediments and finally ends up marrying Priya.

Maddy has done a great job, exuberant with charm and charismatism as usual. Vivek supports Madhavan is delivering a fantastic comedy track as Delhi Ganesh as Natarajan Iyer and Kanka as Gayathri spice up the concoction.Yuvan's music has been welcomed greatly. On a sum total, credit goes to Ravikumar for putting up a pleasant entertainer for the entire family.
