      The three youths in the film with diversifying mentalities take the world with different perspectives.

Inba is a product of the chennai streets, who people know well and fear. He is a brutal, arrogant, untamed and loud character in the film. But he is also extremely charming when he wants to be. He has clawed his way to survive in the slums of Chennai.

Sasi (Meera Jasmine) –

Inba’s love Sasi is raised as a little princess in the protective middle class household of an LIC agent. He hones his violence and wins many street fight while she aces her mid-terms and semester exams in college. He loves her passionately and she loves him madly but both very obsessively. He wants to give her the earth and she wants him to give up crime. He beats her for that and she walks out on him many times but each time comes back because: She cannot live without him. 

He is a cool guy who knows how to enjoy life and everyone loves him. His only philosophy in life is 'I will take care of myself and the world will take care of itself.'.

Mira (Trisha)

No different than him, Mira is also full of fun and wants to enjoy life to the fullest. She plans to settle down and raise a family in Sivakasi but Arjun is planning to fly off to the land of opportunity in a month. They meet in a discotheque and both decide to just hang out with each other knowing their paths don’t meet. Both of them are determined not to get into an ‘emotional mess.’ But ultimately both cannot help nor stop loving the other.
