Tamil Movie Preview : Mazhai

• The movie is actually the remake version of the Telugu movie ‘Varsham’ which was a great hit there.

• The film was titled Mazhai because, most of the song sequences and stunt sequences were being picturised in rain.

• So, they used many litres of water which were brought to the spot in tankers. They have used many tankers of water for the purpose of shooting.

• The movie has Jayam Ravi and the stunning beauty of Tollywood Shreya (who did a character role in the movie Unnaku 20 Ennaku 18) in the pilot roles.

• In Telugu version, Trisha (first movie) did the female lead, and she received a great appreciation among the audience.

• Jayam Ravi has already reached the pinnacle because of the remake movies. So, this movie could also aid him and turn to be a hit.

• The songs are already topping the charts with some beautiful tunes from Devi Sri Prasad. The music which was used in the original version has been used here again.

• The movie is being produced by S.P.Balasubaranaiam under the banner Capital cinema and the movie is being directed by the debutante director Rajkumar.

• Inspite of the producers themselves being the music directors, they have used another music composer because they wanted the same effect as it was in the original version.

• The movie is all set for release and all whole of the team is expecting the movie to be a hit.
