Sarathkumar’s
100th film, Thalaimagan
was formally launched
today. In the invitation
to the function, it
was
printed
that the hero’s
first hero, Karthik,
would be the chief guest.
On being quizzed why,
the organizers clarified
that years ago, Sarath
was a film distributor
and then turned producer.
The first film he produced
was Kann chimittum neram
in which Karthik was
the hero and Ambika
the heroine. Sarath
also played a cop in
the film. So, on his
100th film, the supreme
star thought it fit
to honor Karthik.
