in the lead and Perarasu
as the director. He
wanted Nayantara as
the
heroine
and approached her.
While the producer and
the hero did not exactly
agree with his choice,
Nayan
herself declined due
to clashing dates. But
her Kalvanin
Kadhali’s
shooting is getting
postponed and so she
agreed to do Tirupathi
and demanded Rs. 40
lakhs. The producers
refused and offered
her only Rs. 10 lakhs.
The winner was finally
Sadha who accepted the
producer’s offer.
Ajith and Sadha
are pairing up for the
first time.
