She
first splashed on the
Tamil industry in Mani
Ratnam’s
Iruvar. She followed it
up with the family dramas
in Kandu kondein,
Kandu kondein and Jeans.
She has not been seen
of late in Tamil because
of her busy schedule
in Bollywood and Hollywood.
After making her foray
in international films
with Bride and Prejudice,
she is currently working
in two English films,
Mistress of Spices and
Provoked. There has
been too much hype covering
her career journey but
one gets to feel that
her performance has
not matched the mania.
Both the above films
have noted Indian technicians
wielding the camera.
Santosh Sivan is the

Mistress and Madhu Ambat
for Provoked. Meanwhile,

to discuss and make
Aishwarya
agree to play opposite
