Bharadwaj was first
noticed as a talented
music composer in
Charan’s Kaadhal
Mannan. Despite
his fine musical instincts,
he was always in the
sidelines for nearly
a decade. He concentrated
on ad jingles, television
serials etc. This
chartered accountant-turned-composer
hit the big time last
year with three hit
films. Autograph,
Vasoolraja MBBS
and Ayya
received stupendous
audience response.
The music in two recent
releases, Priyasakhi
and February 14
has also been appreciated.
Therefore, it is only
now that he is being
counted upon as an
essential element
of a successful film.
He is presently busy
with an international
project, composing
music for a Malay
film. He will be the
first Indian music
director to have this
honour. Soon, we will
hear strains of Bharadwaj’s
compositions in the
Malay language.
