Simbu’s next release Thotti Jaya was due on August 12. But, this would not materialize as scheduled. Simbu has dubbed only for 6 reels and has refused to complete the rest claiming that his dues be settled first. The producer, Thanu however, refuted Simbu’s statement, saying that the actor has been paid in full. He has also lodged a complaint with the Producers’ Guild and the Distributors’ Association. Simbu has responded that Rs. 15 lakhs is due from Thanu, besides the promised sum of extra Rs. 25 lakhs on the success of Manmadhan. Well, we hope that the issue is sorted out amicably.
