Dhanush seems to be a chastened actor nowadays. He insists on the merit of the story while listening to any new script. He has intense discussions with his wife before deciding to go ahead. He has learnt his lessons the hard way after Pudukottaiyilirundhu Saravanan and Sullan bombed. Both these films had an action-oriented screenplay which the audience did not like. They want him to do roles which show human frailties and evoke a lump in the throat as in Kaadhal Kondein. Way to go, mate!
