On comments that Manmadhan had unnecessary dialogues to criticize Dhanush, Simbu has retorted that he had no intention of hurting anyone. The dialogues were needed as per the screenplay. He said that such comments were an attempt to tarnish his talent and discourage him in the early stage of his career.
